Make a donation

Every single donation we receive is important to us and our charity works hard to ensure that the funds we raise have a positive impact on our local communities.

Please contact us on these details if you'd like to make a donation. We'd be happy to chat through any ideas you have and how you'd like the money to be spent:

Leave a gift in your will

Leaving a gift in your will is one of the very best ways of securing the future mental health of the people of Greater Manchester. In addition, it doesn’t affect your current lifestyle or financial commitments.

If you are considering leaving a gift in your will to Pennine Care Charity in order to support the future work of Pennine Care NHS Foundation Trust, then please get in touch with us on pcn-tr.penninecarecharity@nhs.net or 0161 716 3331

We always recommend that you use a solicitor or an experienced will writer to help you write your will.  Always look after your loved ones first then considering leaving us what’s left over from your estate or at least a portion of it.  This is called a residuary legacy.

When including us in your will, the most important information is our name, address and registered charity number.

So, if you want to leave us a residuary legacy, then please insert the following text into your will:

I give the residue of my estate (or I give ___ % of the residue of my estate) to Pennine Care Charitable Foundation*, 225 Old Street, Ashton under Lyne, Lancashire, OL6 7SR (Registered charity in the United Kingdom 1055205) for its general charitable purposes absolutely.  I further direct that the receipt of the Director or other proper officer of the said charity for the time being shall be a full and sufficient discharge for the said gift.

If you want to simply leave a set sum of money or pecuniary legacy, then use the following wording:

I give the sum of £ ____ to Pennine Care Charitable Foundation*, 225 Old Street, Ashton under Lyne, Lancashire, OL6 7SR (Registered charity in the United Kingdom 1055205) for its general charitable purposes absolutely.  I further direct that the receipt of the Director or other proper officer of the said charity for the time being shall be a full and sufficient discharge for the said gift.

Finally, once you’ve put us in your will, please do let us know as it helps with our financial planning and we’d love to thank and recognise your tremendous generosity.

Fundraise for us

If you want to arrange your own event or fundraiser for us, then go right ahead.  You can do everything from holding a quiz night, to skydiving, baking cakes or participating in an existing event such as a sponsored run or walk.

Before you go ahead with you activity, however, please do get in touch to provide us with the details of your event.  There are a few activities that don’t fit with our values (e.g. pub crawls) but most importantly, we need to sign off on any promotional items and will then provide you with written consent so you can prove to your supporters that you are conducting legitimate fundraising.

You can either set up a Just Giving page at www.justgiving.com or collect the money yourself.  If it’s the latter, then once you’ve raised your funds simply mail us a cheque made out to Pennine Care Charitable Foundation* to the following address:

Pennine Care Charity
Pennine Care NHS Foundation Trust
225 Old Street, Ashton-Under-Lyne
OL6 7SR

Alternatively, if you wanted to make a direct bank transfer, then please use the following details:

National Westminster Bank
Sort Code:  60-13-19
Account Number:  45411751

Trusts and foundations

Charitable trusts and foundations are some of our most generous supporters.  If you are a trustee or representative of a trust or foundation and would like more information on our work or how to support it, then please contact our consultant, Katie Jones on katie@mintfundraising.co.uk.
